0 How To Update Facebook Status Via Any Device

Recently, I updated my Facebook status via Xbox without having one. All I did was a little trick which allows me to pretend to be posting Facebook status via anything at anywhere. This trick can update status via: Blackberry, Xbox, iPhones, Palm, iPod, Moon, Heaven, Hell, ATM Machine, Typewriter, Calculator etc.                                     
Today, I want to share some simple codes you can use to update your Facebook status via costly and funny devices such as Blackberry, Android, Calculator, iPhones and so on. I will also explain how you can also use this trick to write on your friends wall on Facebook....
To use this trick to update status, follow the rules below:


http://www.facebook.com/dialog/feed?app_id=Your APP ID Here&redirect_uri=https://www.facebook.com&to=&display=touch

You shall be working with this link whenever you want to update your Facebook statuses. We shall be dealing with  Your APP ID Here in the code above.



For example if I want to update my Facebook status via Blackberry, then it will look like this
http://www.facebook.com/dialog/feed?app_id=111498688870155&redirect_uri=https://www.facebook.com&to=&display=touch you will notice a slight change in this code. What I change in this new link was “YOUR APP ID HERE” to “111498688870155”. The number I changed to is called the APP ID. Once you have the APP ID of what you want your updates to look like, you will have to change the YOUR APP ID HERE shown in the first link. Now Click on the link above to update your Facebook status via Blackberry. At the end of this post, you will be given many APP ID that you can use to update your Facebook statuses.

To use this trick to post an update on friend’s wall on Facebook, follow the rules below:
Whenever I want to use this trick to post on friends wall on Facebook, I always use this same URL, but I have to add and alter a target ID designation to match my friend ID number.
Here is the code we shall be using: http://www.facebook.com/connect/prompt_feed.php?preview=true&display=touch&api_key=YourApiCode&target_id=FriendId. To apply this trick, there are two things you will need to get. The two things are:

• Your Friend ID Number &
• Your Preferred API Key

To get your friend Facebook ID Number, go to your friend profile and this code will be found at the end of his or her Facebook URL or hidden within a link on his or her page. For example, one of my friends Facebook URL is http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002378853695. The “100002378853695” Is my friend ID Number. If i want to say a happy birthday to one of my friends, then i will put it like this http://www.facebook.com/connect/prompt_feed.php?preview=true&display=touch&api_key=111498688870155&target_id=100002378853695.

How To Find the Profile and Page ID In Facebook....

Facebook Usernames have replaced the good old user ID’s as they were long and hard to remember.But there are lot of applications and tricks like Magic Number  and blue colored Facebook status trick which requires your Facebook ID.You can find the User ID of any page,Group or profile by using Facebook graphs.

Finding the Profile ID of those users who haven’t changed their User ID number with the username


  • Login to your Facebook Account and open Profile page of the user.
  • Now just look at the URL in the address bar it will be something like this
          http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=123456789
  • Here 123456789 is profile ID.

For those who have Changed their User ID numbers with username, finding the Profile ID can be little bit tricky .
  • Login to your Facebook Account
  • Copy/paste the following URL in the address bar.
          https://graph.facebook.com/
  • Now after the slash (/) add your username and hit Enter.
  • Now in the screen look for the “id” this will be your Facebook Profile ID.


 

That’s it! By this trick you can find Profile ID for your profile as well as for Pages.

Best Free Antivirus Software.....

Antivirus provides a essential layer of protection from a multitude of virus, trojan, worm, spyware adware, dialer, keylogger and rootkit infections. Traditionally antivirus programs just detected virus and spyware removers just detected spywares but nowdays boundary between antivirus and spywares removers is unclear. Most antiviruses have at least reasonably good detection rate of all forms of malwares.

Avast! Free Antivirus:

Avast! free Antivirus is the best free antivirus software in light of recent developments. Avast has steadily been improving its detection rates over the past few years and now ranks with some of the best security tool.


 Avast has the most features of all the free antivirus with full real times capabilities including web, e-mail, IM, P2P and network shields, boot time scanning and a behavioural blocker. The new version 6 brings even more features including.
Although sandbox is very useful semi-automated security feature, the default settings involves a pop up to ask whether a software should be sandboxed for not - for the typical average user this can be slightly confusing thought it can set to sandbox the software automatically. Lastly Avast is also light on resources.

Microsoft Security Essential:

Microsoft Security Essential is a favorite of mine with great detection rates, particularly for rooikits. Even more impressive is that Microsoft security essential has very few false positives, is light on resources and is good at removal of existing malware.

 MSE is a great choice for average users because of the minimal user interaction required. It automatically updates and remove threats. No registration is needed and there are no nag screens and advertisements.
The main downsides are the slow scan speed and the long amount of time it take to quarantine malware, thought in my opinion these are rather trivial concerns, as for example scan just be run overnight. MSE is also is not available in certain countries so user there will have to look elsewhere.


Note: Microsoft security essential require genuine copy of windows to install.

Panda Cloud Antivirus:

Panda cloud antivirus is panda's successful attempt to jump on antivirus bandwagon. Along with MSE, it is a excellent choice for average users with a simple interface and completely automated features with automatic updating and removal of malware. The detection level is generally very high, but according to the latest test data, detection of Zero days threats is slightly lower. PCA uses 'cloud' technology to provide for much quicker release for updates as all definitions are stored in cloud and thus the panda update their blacklist all users of PCA with an internet connection are protected from it.


Panda Cloud Antivirus has a behavioural blocker and web protection, which will certainly increase your security. However as you can simply use one of the other free AV's with a separate behavioural blocker (for further details see our Security Wizard) to achieve possibly even better protection, this is not necessarily an advantage.
One minor reservation I have is that PCA seems to erroneously detect certain browser/system-related applications, for example VideoCacheView, and because of the automatic quarantine this made it a fraction bothersome.

Avira Antivirus Personal Edition:

Avira antivirus personal edition is another high quality free antivirus and formerly the top pick. The primary reason I removed it from its status involved the recent controversy of Antivir including a rebranded Ask toolbar in their installer, and a temporary spate of advertisements promoting a possible 'scareware ' company. In spite of the negative press though AntiVir is still a top notch antivirus scanner with outstanding detectionrates of malware, higher than almost any antivirus according to test.


However, there are some minor reservations. First, AntiVir does not include web or e-mail scanning capabilities; this is only available in the paid version. The lack of an e-mail scanner is not a disadvantage, it just means that AntiVir won't warn you of infected emails before you open them. AVG Antivirus Free Edition:
AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition is also a decent choice for a free antivirus. Although this venerable antivirus has had some shaky results in detection in the recent past, it now offers a high level of protection.
This is probably due to the inclusion of a fully-fledged behavioural blocker that is the "Identity Protection" protection. This provides a very important additional layer of protection, on the other hand though a similar protection level can be achieved by using one of the free antivirus above alongside a separate behavioural blocker. Unfortunately AVG free has grown considerably in size, has very slow scan speeds and also advertisements (but they can be disabled).
These free antivirus programs are excellent software that provides a real alternative to the major commercial antivirus products.

There are some other excellent free Antivirus softwares but i did not include in the review because of lower detection rates.

How To Control your computer with sms....!!!!!

The most convenient way to control the PC/System, while you are not at home is controlling it by SMS. Not only Home it can be Office also, in a way you can say controlling the computer wirelessly or remotely. This feature can be widely implemented in the country like India where SMS cost are very cheap.

Coming to the point, to control a PC through SMS, yoursystem should be connected to internet. The service I am going to tell is Free of cost, it depends only on your service provider SMS charges. If you have FREE SMS packs of 10 digit mobile number then its totally FREE.
Well the thing we will need to have is twitter.com account, if you dont have one then you can make it on twitter.
Second thing we will need to have ” TweetMyPC ” software which again is a freeware and can be downloaded from here : Click here to download.

TweetMyPC basically runs on the PC all the time to monitor the Twitter updates for the account which you created earlier in background. So, this software should run always on PC. After installing TweetMyPC you will need to configure it correctly.

For that here we go :


> Run TweetMyPC by clicking on its icon from Desktop. It will start running in background, you can view it in system tray :

 


> Right Click on the icon and select Edit Setting. Now a new window will appear asking you username and password of Twitter. Fill in the username and password of the Twitter account Correctly.
 
> Save and close the window.
Now we are done with this stage of setup.
For updating Twitter status/controlling PC through SMS :
> For completing this step, we will head on to a FREE status update service which is available in India. It is here: http://www.smstweet.in/
 
> Open the site, and click on ” Sign in with Twitter ” button. Allow the site to access Twitter. And enter you mobile number, through which you are going to update it. This is the one way of registering your mobile, or you can also Setup your mobile by Simply Sending SMS  ‘ TWEET REGISTER ‘ to 09220092200.
Now you are done. Start controlling your system wirelessly. But before that where are the commands which you will use to control your PC ?

>To shut down the PC you will need to send SMS as ” TWEET Shutdown ” to 09220092200 , without quotation.
Here are some more commands, but before sending those you will need to add TWEET word before each command.
